Please read #1 – 14 and let us know if you have any questions prior to work being done.

1. Please ensure sufficient space is available to perform a detail.  This usually just means parking on a reasonably level hard surface and being able to open all doors; No grass, gravel or dirt.  If any paint correction (heavy / med compounding, not simple polishing) is requested there needs to be an area that provides at least over head protection e.g., well lit shop, barn, car port etc..

2. Please remove all personal items prior to the detail.  This includes, but is not limited to, valuables, large / bulky items or any attached items that are not part of the actual vehicle (e.g., dog seat covers, booster seats, CD holders etc.).  We can remove bulky items, i.e., golf clubs, camping gear, boxes etc., but this is not part of detailing a vehicle and it will cost extra.  Any small items found (minus debris) will be separated, bagged and returned after the detail.

3. LIABILITIES: Baby seats, boosters, etc., will not be touched so it is highly recommended that these are removed prior to the detail if anything under or around them is to be cleaned.  If left in place we will do our best to clean around them.  No cleaning of seatbelts using any type of chemicals.  We will try to remove “obvious” stains using steam only.  If the steam does not work we will not attempt anything further.

4. Any steering wheel covers or seat covers can be removed by us and discarded, but we cannot put them back on. Damage to seat covers during removal is common and we will not be responsible for any damage or replacement  costs.  If they remain attached we will do our best to detail around them.

5. We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule a detail due to inclement weather, with up to 24 hours notice in advance.  We will not conduct a detail in the rain, when rain is likely or when ambient temps are below 45F.  Experience has shown certain conditions are not conducive to success (snow, rain, sustained wind gusts 15mph+, high moisture content/fog/drizzle.)

6. Center console and glove boxes will be cleaned if they are empty. We do not touch items in either compartment.

7. We include the detailing of one set of floor mats in our pricing.  Any additional mats will not be cleaned, or will be charged accordingly based on condition and if requested by the customer prior to a detail – *Additional mats will only be cleaned if requested.

8. Pet hair and sand are two of the hardest items to completely remove.  We don’t guarantee %100 removal, but on most occasions we are successful at removing any visible traces of each item.

9. Some stains are permanent and simply cannot be safely removed without cutting out and replacing the material. We use multiple processes to attack protein, tannin, and oil/grease stains, but if a stain has already set (become part of the fabric) we will not chase it and risk more damage.  Similar issues can occur on the exterior, especially with neglected brake dust, algae, bird poop, sap, tar etc.  If left too long on a surface they can cause permanent damage, even after cleaning or removing the bonded material.

10. Odors cannot always be removed by cleaning alone.  If we think the odor has severely permeated the fabrics of the headliner, seats, carpets, under the dash etc., we may refer to a shop and pass on the detail as a mobile service.

11. Neglected vehicles sometimes hide damage to various components.  Makeup, suntan lotion / sunscreen, body oils can permanently damage / discolor plastics, dyed leather, fabric etc.  We can remove the dirt, but sometimes small knobs, switches, buttons have already been damaged to the point that they lose their markings.  We are not responsible for damage caused by abuse, age or neglect.  We do not use any harsh chemicals and rely on a combination of all purpose cleaners and steam to remove layers of dirt, neither is used in a way that causes damage.

12. Engine Detailing: NO LONGER DOING ENGINE DETAILS AS A MOBILE SERVICE

13. Headliner cleaning is not part of a regular detail, but isolated stains can be treated if identified by the client.  Heavy cleaning of this part of a vehicle is highly discouraged due to unknowns about adhesion and the constant pull of gravity on the headliner material.

14. We will clean the outside and inside of sunroofs, but we will not open the glass or detail the tracks or electronic / latching mechanisms as part of the regular detail.  Numerous (and expensive) issues could go wrong detailing these areas (sealing/leaks of dry rotted or shrunk materials, electrical connections etc.)

15. We no longer clean up any heavy mold, biological or hazardous materials.  Some services should be taken to a full service or specialty shop.  Some cleanups require various certifications, PPE, overnighting vehicles, Ozone generation etc., and are simply not worth it for us in a time-constrained environment. Experience has shown that the time and cost to ensure all residue is removed (and then sanitize and/or replace our tools, hoses, etc.) is not cost effective as a mobile service and we do not want to pass those costs on to out customers.  Many times we have had to take doors apart, seatbelt brackets out, remove seats, consoles, dash compartments just to rid the interior of all organic material.  Dead animals, blood, fecal matter, urine, vomit, etc. will no longer be considered.  Normally this is identified during the quote inspection, but if found half way through a detail we will stop, consult with the owner and go from there.
