EXTERIOR
ENHANCEMENTS
(Upon request)

HARD WATER / MINERAL DAMAGE:

-COST DEPENDS ON SEVERITY OF DAMAGE.
(this damage is usually caused by sprinklers, auto wash systems or any form of municipal water drying on paint or glass; sometimes etching the surface)

MACHINE POLISH:

-ONE-STEP cleaner polish STARTS ~$150 FOR A compact SEDAN IN average CONDITION (added to the
BASIC exterior DETAIL service cost)

Please note: POLISH improves CLARITY AND WILL REMOVE SOME minor DEFECTS I.E. LIGHT HAZE and very fine SWIRL MARKS. IT'S NOT GOING TO REMOVE heavy OXIDATION, severe car wash “swirling” or DEEPer SCRATCHES.

PAINT CORRECTION:

-HEAVY CUT correction (can include WET SAND / COMPOUND) IS NOT NORMALLY A MOBILE SERVICE DUE TO the TIME it takes AND WEATHER CONSTRAINTS. HOWEVER, IT CAN BE DISCUSSED ONCE PAINT IS EVALUATED AND if suitable FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE (e.g. a well lit SHOP)

ceramic coatings: Great for a new vehicle!

-3 yr traditional ceramic coatings starts at $700 for sedans, $850 for trucks. Includes complete detail wash, clay treatment, iron decon, one step machine polish and application of the coating to body paint (glass and wheels not included)

TRIM RESTORATION:

-NOT A DRESSING
-INCLUDES deep cleaning and DYING
FADED EXTERIOR PLASTIC TRIM. PRICE DEPENDS ON SEVERITY AND AMOUNT OF TRIM TO REstore. *LASTs a YEAR or more depending on care and maintenance practices

"I NEED A full DETAIL, but don't know what that means!"

That is an actual quote from a client (a current monthly client) and requires some clarity. A 3 month old garaged Camry that rarely sees a passenger and is washed weekly will not cost the same as a 5 yr old Camry that is rarely washed, stored under a pine tree and transports pets and kids on the daily.  Nobody can explain what a “Full Detail” is so you will never hear me say it. Detailing is just an umbrella term for a service that includes various levels of effort, expense, expectations, processes and results. Expecting a “concours level detail” (e.g. white glove inspection) for a couple of hundred bucks on a daily driven Civic is just not going to happen.

I bring this up because vehicles come in many shapes and sizes.  Some are new, some are old, some get abused and some are rarely out of the garage.  History has taught me that the best response to, “I need a detail” is physically going over the vehicle with the owner and determining a solution together.  Expecting a quote sight-unseen is unreasonable, especially if you do not know what is included or what you really want.  For example, as much as it may be needed, I will not automatically polish paint, dye faded trim or acid wash hard water damage if it has not been requested/discussed and the price agreed to.  It works best when clients know what they want, ask questions, point out concerns and we both agree on what can and cannot be accomplished for a specific price. I don’t like shortcuts, confusion, upselling or surprises, nor should my clients.

PLEASE SEE TERMS PAGE ONCE A DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR A VEHICLE TO BE DETAILED
